Hi There, I downloaded you from (I believe) http://www.shareware.com or http://www.slaughterhouse.com Anyway, I wanted to tell you a couple of things about your program. 1. IT IS GREAT!!!!! 2. You can also use it to prove your ISP is a liar!! I will explain: Yesterday I was on the Net when I kept getting No DNS boxes, I decided to check the status on The Stay Connected Program, and lo and behold there under SMTP was the message "status not connected" and the SMPT lights were red. I immediately called my ISP and they at first denied any problem. But then when I told them I was using your program they stated that they were having some "slight" problems. I will be registering my copy very shortly, but just wanted you to know that I think it is a really Great program. Might I may a suggestion on an additional feature for those of us who have serious Latency problems? Include some sort of status option for latency, and transmission and reception speeds. I always check out AOL for good downloads -- and your Stay Connected download looks good - after 8 disconnects in 20 minutes one day and 4 disconnects in 10 minutes the next. I've been using Stay Connected v.1.3.3 for about a week now, and I find it's great! I'm going to try v.2.0 and then I will register. I have some questions; Should I download your new version v. 2.0 as shareware, and register it? Or should I register what I'm using, v. 1.3.3, and then will I be entitled to the new version? To install the new version, should I uninstall the old one first? Assuming I register via Internet, do I have to be online with AOL, or if not, do I have to enable "Connect to the Internet as needed" on my Internet Properties box? Thanks. I located you from tucows website via a friend from work. It seems to do the job as advertised (I'm speaking of StayConnect version 2) and one cannot ask any more than that. The $19.95 asking price is very fair as well. The other day I purchase another program, it cost me a bomb and it just didn't work as well as it recommended. I got a refund for it and now I try StayConnect, it just is a really "worth its' price" program.
