"308% increase"
Initially, the results showed a 562% increase in extreme performance, with 0% increase in the average and best of best performance areas. I found this a little hard to believe so I ran the auto tune up again. After the second tune up the results were quite different. Extreme performance showed a 308% increase with average performance showing a 75% increase and best of best showing a 2% increase.

I have tried other so called modem accelerator type software before but never have I seen the performance increase that Modem Booster provides. I was astounded by the speed at which web pages loaded, I sat gaped mouth witnessing a file download going at over 
7 kb a second on a phone line! This is incredible software! When I started the automatic tune-up, I was a little annoyed by the constant dialing and hanging up with my ISP service, I just walked away and let it go. (It ran for about 45 minutes) I thought to myself, "What the hell have I put on my machine!" But to give it a fair chance, I let it finish and, am I glad I did! This has to be the absolute BEST 20 bucks I've ever spent on any PC product! Thanks for taking the time to read my note, and I will be looking for other quality products from inKline Global.

I'm on dial up and it works great. I've noticed a significant difference. The only this is I can't determine the exact MTU and RWIN numbers. I've read other comments before trying it out, and not sure what they're exactly doing wrong. I agree about the "Tuning" taking a long time, but overall, it works great for me. I'm using AOL 7.0, 192mg of actual ram, Win98SE, currently at 84% resources and still doing great.

Downloading music tracks from emusic was very slow so I talked with someone in their customer/tech support. She suggested trying Modem Booster so I did. I've gotten a 30% to 40%, maybe more, increase in download speed from emusic, some of their tracks are in the 30 mb plus range. My overall response on the Web in general has improved noticeably, I don't have a good idea on how to quantify the improvement but its well worth the cost.

56k modem and was sick in tired of 5.2kbs/sec. so i d/loaded this program installed it and now i go as fast as 20.0kbs-40.0kbs!!! i highly recommend this!

When I ran tune up there are three lines indicating the percent of increase. The first line indicated an increase of over 600%. Wow!
